The Call for Proposals for Global Digital Humanities Symposium 2026 (virtual + in-person, 13-17 April 2026) closes 15 October 2025. This year, we are accepting proposals in English and Spanish.
The symposia of past years have been successful thanks to the generous contributions of our reviewers who have helped to shape engaging and wide-ranging scholarly programs. We’re hoping to expand our numbers this year, particularly with those who are readers of Spanish, and would love to have your participation. If you are interested in reviewing, fill out this brief form by Friday, 15 October 2025. Note that in order to sign up as a reviewer, you need an Oxford Abstracts account first. If you do not yet have an account, you will be prompted to create one when clicking on the signup link.
As a reviewer, you can expect to receive 4 to 6 proposals, each of which you’ll be asked to evaluate in the Oxford Abstracts platform using the review criteria posted on the Symposium website (review criteria in English; review criteria in Spanish). We expect to send reviewers their assignments on Friday, 17 October 2025, and will ask for completed reviews by Friday, 13 November 2025.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Global DH Symposium Planning Committee at globaldhsymposium@gmail.com.
